Short Story Reading Club
in 2009 in Tilburg.
We met nine times per season at the 'wijkcentrum De Poorten' and talked about various short stories I had chosen beforehand. The discussed short stories where mainly taken from The New Penguin Book of American Short Stories: from Washington Irving to Lydia Davis, but we also discussed one season Jhumpa Lahiri's wonderful short story collection Interpreter of Maladies.
